11 Feb. 2008 Hisar 'Krishi Smridhi Mahayajya' Organised at
Hisar under the aegis of Prakritik Krishi Tantra. Members of various social & religious organisations like Arya
Samaj, Kisan Bachao Andolan, Vanprastha, Yog Vidyapeeth and local social leaders participated in the even. Social
organisations come together against BT Cotton on Basant Panchami and resolved to free the agriculture of dangerous
plants like BT Cotton. Noted Scientist and Social Leader Dr Zile Singh Rana graced the occassion as Chief Guest.
11 Feb. Hisar Local Medical Fraternity Apprised of the grave situation arising
out of health problems in humans and animal due to BT Cotton, a genetically modified plant which has entered in our food chain
through animal feed and finally to milk and has polluted our environment.
